Carnival UK is the world’s largest cruise operator. Broadgate’s association with Carnival spans from 1999, when P&O Cruises decided to outsource the support of the ships’ systems together with a Y2K migration exercise. Since then, Broadgate has custom built and supported the CORe property management system.

To support this environment, we have created a 24-hour 365-day support structure to support the time zones the vessels pass through under a Service Level Agreement. Out of office hours our on-call team provide all levels of support for the 24-hour period.

Broadgate works closely with the Kuoni IT team by providing quality project management and programming support. This involves heavily interacting with IT and user departments to identify business requirements followed by a combination of off-site and on-site development, testing and deployment. We also manage development and support on SAP Business Objects for Kuoni.

Key targets for the Broadgate team in this engagement are to speed up delivery of new function and development, reduce backlogs, reduce risk, and augment the existing IT Department as a virtual extension of the team.

Broadgate team based out of India has worked closely with India’s oldest book store to deliver bespoke solutions tailor made for the book retail industry. Broadgate manages and supports the Higginbotham’s Oracle ERP infrastructure, applications and database as well as develop several enterprise solutions that integrate with legacy systems.

HBPOS is a custom Point of Sale and inventory management system that is deployed in over 50 locations. Broadgate is also currently developing HB Reader, a digital book and magazine ecosystem with a eReader for iOS and Android built on top of a publisher portal.

Eatselecta is a mobile based food ordering system for at-table and take-away orders with an in-built music rewards system. Built as an enhancement to the Beatselecta Digital Jukebox system for the hospitality industry, the system has been enhanced to accept customer orders through an app-based system.

Eatselecta has also partnered with Broadgate to integrate the product into the new hospitality POS system which is under development and are scheduled to launch the new product in May 2018.
